1.About the Committee

The Communist Youth League of the Committee of Nanfang College of SYSU is a mass organization of advanced youth of the college. It is a school for young students to study Socialism and Communism with Chinese characteristics in practice, and serves as a bridge between the party and young students.

The Youth League Committee is responsible for guiding such various associations as the Student Union, the Red Cross, Students’ Association Union, the College Students’ Art Quality Development Center and Youth Volunteer Service Center to serve the young students wholeheartedly and carrying out healthy and beneficial campus activities. We are committed to creating a cultural atmosphere conducive to teachers and students, improving students’ comprehensive ability, cultivating outstanding young cadres in all-round development, and striving to improve the contribution rate of the Communist Youth League to the growth of young students.

   2. Organizational Structure

Secretary of the Youth League Committee:in charge of the work of the Communist Youth League of Nanfang College of SYSU.

Office Director (also responsible for comprehensive management):

The main duties are: the day-to-day administrative affairs of the Youth League Committee, including official document processing, financial management, seal management, site management, comprehensive governance, fixed asset and document management; the construction of youth league committee system, promoting the standardization, scientization and institutionalization of the youth league committee; the reception services for meetings and external exchanges, organizing the regular meetings of the Youth League Committee and the second-level group organization; supervising the progress of the work of the Youth League Committee.

Campus Culture Section:

Its responsibilities are: guiding and managing associations and societies including the Student Union, Students' Association Union and Students' Art Center; organizing students’ science and technology academic activities, social practice activities, campus cultural activities, etc.; vigorously promoting the construction of the Youth League youth employment and entrepreneurship base and the innovative practice of college students; the publicity of the youth league committee; coordinating the supervision of competitions and activities at all levels.

Youth League Members Affairs Section:

Its responsibilities include: guiding the Youth Volunteer Service Center and the Red Cross Society; the construction of the grassroot youth league commitees and the education and development of the cadres; the management of student cadres and the evaluation of the school league committee awards, including the selection and appointment of student cadres, file management, cadre assessment.
