Recently the 2024 National College Business Elite Challenge: Accounting and Business Management Competition came to a successful conclusion. Five students from School of Accounting of NCG, Lin Xiaodan, Zeng Xiaolu, Hu Peng, Qian Siying and Chen Muning formed a participating team. Under the guidance of teachers Cao Xueqian and Hu Kuan, they won the national first prize in this competition (ranking first among the group) and advanced to the National Elite Round. The other team composed of five students, Chen Miwa, Ou Pan, Huang Weiwei, Lu Zichun and Chen Zhiying, under the guidance of teachers Li Shuifang and Lu Xinxin, won the national second prize in this competition.
It is reported that the Accounting and Business Management Competition has been held for 11 consecutive sessions since 2014. This year had more than 7,000 teams from nearly 500 colleges and universities across the country participating. After selection from some provincial competitions, the preliminary evaluation by the organizing committee, re-evaluation by selection experts and review by the holder committee, more than 2,000 participating teams were finally promoted and participated in the national finals. A total of 713 first-prize,1,028 second-prize and 632 third-prize projects were selected. Among them more than 90 first-prize teams advanced to the National Elite Round.

The award of this competition is not only the accomplishment of the ardous preparation by the teams, but also the crystallization of the cooperation among teachers and students from School of Accounting. The award-winning students will be inspired by this honor to continuously improve their professional quality and comprehensive ability, contributing to the development of accounting discipline with a more solid academic foundation and innovative way of thinking. NCG will also take this competition as an opportunity to continue improving discipline construction, further promote the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship practice to build a vigorous learning and practice platform for students, stimulating the enthusiasm and upgrade the school's education to innovation and entrepreneurship to a new level.
