In December 2021, the school established the JD E-commerce Modern Industry Institute in collaboration with JD Group and other enterprises, jointly exploring a new model for cultivating innovative talents in "Internet + E-commerce + Logistics + Education."

The Industry Institute primarily caters to majors such as E-commerce, Logistics Management, Big Data Management and Application, and Internet Finance. Using training bases as platforms, it creates an integrated practice field for logistics and commercial flows, with real projects permeating the entire teaching process. Simultaneously, the institute has built an industry alliance and ecosystem, signing off-campus internship agreements with numerous renowned local enterprises including JD, Vipshop, Suning E-commerce, Bailianda E-commerce, Guangzhou Teddy Technology, and Guangzhou Lifeng Technology. Students are regularly organized in groups to visit these companies for learning and on-the-job practice, with a total of 500 person-times of off-campus internships conducted. Graduates from the institute have been widely praised by employers, with a satisfaction rate exceeding 98%.
