On March 30th, the 4th China University Computer Competition –Team programming Ladder Tournament started the race. This competition was held by the Computer Science Professional Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Software Engineering Professional Teaching Steering Committee, the University Computer Course Teaching and Learning Committee and the National Colleges and Universities’ Computer Education Research Association. The competition included three different competition levels which are Everest (undergraduates’ group), Huashan Sword (undergraduates group) and Cang Hai Jing Zhou (college students group).

Teacher Chen Haishan, Zhang Jianxin, and He Guangying from the computer teaching teams of the Electric College led three teams to participate in the highest-level undergraduates group: Everest.  After they competed fiercely, the "Nanfang 3rd Team" and the "Nanfang Apple Pie Team" won the first prize and the second prize respectively in the South China Division. The Nanfang College of Sun Yat-sen University won the university first prize.
