Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the results of the professional registration and approval of ordinary universities in 2018. The new major “Intelligent Science and Technology” of our school received approval to be established and will be open for students to enroll in 2019. Until now, there are 40 undergraduate majors in our school (including 7 discipline fields: management, economics, literature, engineering, science, medicine, and art).

In recent years, based on the actual needs of robust national strategies, the construction of Guangdong-Hongkong-Macao Greater Bay Area, social development as well as our college’s development, we have taken the initiative to focus on new knowledge, new technologies, new industries, new models and enhance the ability to serve national strategies and regional developments. Furthermore, we continuously increase investment in professional construction, cultivate professional characteristics, develop high-level applied talents that are in short supply in society, and strive to establish a first-class applied private college.
