About the Speaker
Chen Yuncai: Researcher, University of California, Irvine. He has studied and worked in Jingzhou Branch of Wuhan Medical College, Zhongshan Medical University (now renamed as Zhongshan School of Medicine), Beijing Medical University, University of California and so on. He has been awarded with the titles “Excellent Young Talents” of the Ministry of Health, “Distinguished Postdoctoral Researcher” of American Academy of Neuroscience, “Young Investigator of National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD).
Chen’s research interests include the mechanism of exercise in delaying brain aging, the growth of lateral neurons induced by auditory convulsions, the effects of stress on the development of dendritic spines in neurons and so on. He has published a total of over 60 academic research papers in the world-renowned professional journals such as Natural Neuroscience, Neuroscience, Moore Neurology, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).
